The Armed Services YMCA enhances the lives of military members and their families in spirit, mind, and body through programs relevant to the unique challenges of military life. Our focus is to provide needed programs and services for single or married junior enlisted personnel and their family members. The Armed Services YMCA Alaska empowers military families, no matter who they are or where they’re from, by ensuring access to resources, relationships, and opportunities for all to learn, grow, and thrive.
Thursday Evening June 11th:
- Pre-ROMP Chapter 35 social American Legion Post 35, 4180 Tweed Ct.
- Kitchen will be open with limited menu to purchase,
- Camping is available. Camping Free, electric hookup $20
- Biscuits and Gravy to purchase
- Mandatory Meeting 10:00 with all paperwork pre-checked and turned in.
- KSU 10:30 Lunch in Glennallen (152mi) on own for approximately an hour
- Tok Thompson’s Eagle Claw Motorcycle Park, 5 Borealis Ave Tok 907-940-5558 $20.00 CASH for camping
- Supper: Chicken, potato salad, macaroni salad, baked beans, cookies
- Breakfast burritos (pre-made) with bacon or sausage
- KSU 10:00 TOKE TO Valdez (255mi)
- Valdez Glacier Campground, 1200 Airport RD 907-873-4795 $150.00 for the campsite & the cost will be divided up with whomever stays * Cash Only Please.
- You may check in at or after 15:00 on the 13th
- Supper – Nachos, cookies
- Breakfast eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, pastry
- Director Larry Block has scheduled an informal meeting
- Check out no later than 11:00 on the 14th
